Steel Operator/ Production Operator

Opportunity

An Excellent opportunity has arisen for a Steel Production Operators based in Witham to start ASAP. Temporary to permanent roles. Hours – Monday – Thursday 07:00 – 15:30, Friday 07:00 – 14:00.

Responsibilities

Operate all relevant bending machinery, tools, and equipment and undertake production tasks safely and accordance with instructions
Physical/ manual work to include the movement and lifting of steel bars
Complete production activities in order of priority
Set up or adjust equipment according to manufacturing specifications
Monitor the quality of output to identify, discard or re-manufacture faulty products
Maintain accurate daily production records so that manufacturing performance can be analysed
Using measuring tapes
Operate Overhead crane (Training provided)
