Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and commercially astuteHead of HRto lead our people strategy and drive transformation across the business. The ideal candidate will hold anMCIPDqualification and have a strong background in HR leadership, with expertise in change management, TUPE, mergers and acquisitions, and employee engagement.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in integrating our HR systems with outsourced payroll, ensuring a seamless transition. You will also be responsible for delivering leadership training, supporting organisational growth, and driving a high-performance culture within amanufacturing and blue-collar workforce.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a robust HR strategy aligned with the company\’s commercial objectives.
  • Lead and executechange and transformationprojects across the business, ensuring effective implementation and communication.
  • Oversee all aspects ofTUPEprocesses, ensuring smooth integration and compliance.
  • Integrate the HR systemwith our outsourced payroll provider, streamlining efficiency and accuracy.
  • Deliver trainingprograms to leaders, equipping them with essential skills to manage and develop their teams effectively.
  • Play a key role inM&A activity, including due diligence, integration planning, and people strategy alignment.
  • Develop and driveemployee engagement initiatives, fostering a positive and productive work culture.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and best practices, particularly within ablue-collar, manufacturing environment.
  • Partner with the leadership team to enhance talent management, succession planning, and workforce development.
  • Provide HR reports and insights to theCEO, supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Requirements

  • MCIPD qualifiedwith a strong track record in a senior HR leadership role.
  • Proven experience inchange and transformation projects, including TUPE and M&A.
  • Strong understanding ofHR system integration with outsourced payroll.
  • Excellent facilitation and coaching skills, with the ability todeliver training to leaders.
  • Commercially focused with the ability to align HR strategy with business objectives.
  • Experience working withblue-collar employees in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and best HR practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving organisation, driving innovation and continuous improvement.
