Join the team delivering one of the most prestigious transport infrastructure projects in Northwest London! This £1bn+ scheme will transform connectivity across the country, featuring six underground platforms and up to eight platforms. As the Section Manager, you'll be at the heart of a once-in-a-generation project that blends deep excavation, complex rail interfaces, and cutting-edge construction techniques.
The Role
As Section Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering critical packages of work within a live rail and underground environment. From early-stage planning through to commissioning and handover, you'll lead a multidisciplinary team and ensure safety, quality, and programme excellence are embedded throughout.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a culture of safety, health, and environmental excellence across all works.
- Ensure quality assurance and compliance with HS2 standards and commitments.
- Lead the procurement and delivery of ground reduction and site establishment works.
- Provide technical input into design development, consents, and third-party approvals.
- Manage interfaces with other contractors and rail systems teams.
- Review contractor documentation and on-site performance against programme, quality, and innovation targets.
- Identify risks and opportunities, raising early warnings and managing compensation events.
- Foster strong, transparent relationships with HS2 and other key stakeholders.
