Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am
5:00pm Contract: Full-time, Permanent About the Role Are you an experienced Quality Controller with a background in warehouse operations within the fresh produce sector? Were looking for a Warehouse QC to join a successful and growing fresh produce business near Sevenoaks, Kent. This role is perfect for someone with strong attention to detail who enjoys ensuring the highest standards of product quality and food safety in a busy warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities
Inspect all inbound deliveries, checking product condition, temperature, packaging, and specification compliance.
Conduct regular stock quality checks to ensure correct rotation and identify potential issues early.
Verify outgoing goods meet customer requirements before dispatch.
Accurately record quality findings and update internal systems in real time.
Highlight and report non-conformances, supporting the Quality and Warehouse Managers with corrective actions.
Work collaboratively with warehouse and technical teams to maintain consistent product standards.
Promote and maintain food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards throughout the warehouse.
What Were Looking For
Previous experience in a warehouse-based quality control role within fresh produce or perishable goods.
Strong understanding of warehouse processes, stock control, and storage conditions.
Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to identifying quality issues.
Confident communicator, able to liaise effectively across warehouse and technical departments.
IT literate
competent with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, and confident updating QC systems.
Reliable, flexible, and organised, with the ability to work well under pressure.
