For Companies Our client based in Preston is currently seeking an IT Support Engineer to join their team in an IT support role. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically skilled and customer-oriented individual looking to provide hands-on support across a range of hardware, software, and network issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first- and second-line support for users across the business
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues via phone, email, and in person
- Support and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers
- Assist with user onboarding, system setups, and routine upgrades
- Monitor and maintain IT systems and network infrastructure
Key Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and basic networking
- Effective problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Previous experience in a general IT support role is highly desirable
