We are currently looking for a Night Fitter to join our friendly team based in Alfreton This will be working a shift on a rotational 6pm-6am. Main ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Site Manager, you will work as part of the site team maintaining all plant equipment across the site to ensure all preventative and reactive maintenance is carried out to a high standard and in line with company procedures to maximise efficient productivity. You will also ensure all tasks are undertaken in accordance with company safety policy and completed in a timely and professional manner. Day to day maintenance activities which include planned and preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery. Meeting statuary and SHE standards as a minimum This is a day roll, working on a variety of plant throughout the block manufacturing site as directed on a planned and reactive basis. You will be required to record all work on the site CMMS system. This is a dynamic role, mostly self-motivated and self-supervised with good communication skills.The Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate for the role of Night Fitter will have experience of: IOSH training would be an advantage. Experience of maintaining / replacement of mechanical parts including bearings, shafts, rollers, pumps Skilled with hand tolls, bearing presses, and fitting tools. Skilled with basic welding and burning. Experience in a manufacturing or heavy industry environment.
