I am working with a civil engineering/utilities specialist who is looking for an experienced CDM Advisor to join the business and support the construction teams. The ideal candidate will be required to have strong CDM knowledge and be able to ensure compliance with CDM 2015 regulations and support principal designer duties in a safety-first mindset. With the team looking to grow there are multiple locations across the Thames Valley, Home Counties, and London.

The CDM Safety Advisor will be responsible for:

  • Lead compliance with CDM 2015 and support the design teams and coordinate pre-construction information
  • Oversee and audit construction phase plans
  • Conduct site safety audits, hazard reviews and risk assessments
  • Provide support and training on CDM when required
  • Work as part of a team to provide reports and deliver presentations
  • Stakeholder manager across multiple divisions

The CDM Safety Advisor will have:

  • 3 years of experience working in CDM, or health & safety with CDM responsibilities
  • Previous experience working with designers would be an advantage
  • Working knowledge of conducting design and safety audits and risk assessments
  • NEBOSH certificate, ideally in construction
  • Driving license
  • Strong communicator, both verbal and written
