We have an exciting opportunity for an Assessor to join our thriving Early Years department at BSDC. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a background in Early Years and experience of delivering to students. An Assessor Qualification is essential to this post to support our full-time learners to successfully complete their industry placement and work experience elements of the course.

Hours for this role can be flexible to support learner and employer visits between 8:30 - 5pm. You will have high expectations of learners and the ability to support and develop their skills in working with children. You will visit and observe learners in their practice and support them in preparing evidence for their qualification.

The role will involve engaging with new and existing employers to secure high-quality work experience and placement opportunities for our Level 1, 2 and T-level courses. The role will encompass travel to a variety of employers, so you must be able to manage your schedule effectively to meet the needs of the learners, the curriculum and the employers. Applicants should be qualified to, or willing to work towards, Level 2 English and Maths. Evidence of qualifications is required.
