About our client
Our client is an impressive venture capital investor looking to hire a Fund Finance Analyst to support the Fund Controller in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a variety of responsibilities in fund finance while also owning the valuations and portfolio analysis. This is a growth hire that will act as a business partner and support senior management in the oversight of fund finance, portfolio monitoring, portfolio valuations, portfolio analytics, process improvement, and supporting the investment team in the transaction process.
What the job involves
- Preparation of valuation models and other valuation documentation in relation to portfolio companies.
- Oversight of financial reporting by administrators.
- Oversight of investor and regulatory reporting.
- Assistance with the annual audit process for all investment vehicles and funds.
- Assistance in the management of fund cash and liquidity, capital calls & distributions.
- Review and continuous maintenance of investment analysis, investment structures, and investor analytics.
- Assisting management with the implementation and process improvement of fund operational systems and controls.
- Supporting senior management in a variety of other ad-hoc projects.
Who we are looking for
- Chartered Accountant (or equivalent).
- Financial services experience would be desirable.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office; modelling experience is an advantage.
- Happy to work within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and with a strong work ethic.
- Engaging personality: able to interact with a broad range of service providers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
