Are you looking for regular Monday to Friday HGV C+E Night work? We require x5 Night Drivers in Normanton. A global drinks logistics provider based in the Normanton area is now seeking HGV C+E Drivers to join its expanding team now the hospitality sector is back up in full force. Driving assessment and training is provided on site prior to commencement. The company specialises within the brewery industry and is focused on the customers' needs, providing logistics solutions of outstanding quality. Pertemps are looking to recruit experienced drivers to work out of the Normanton site.
As the HGV C+E Driver your duties will include:
- Trunking between depot and RDCs.
- A safety-first approach to driving and ensuring loads are safely secured.
- Pulling curtains back & bungee nets.
- Completing daily driver check sheets & logbooks.
Start times can vary between 16:00pm up to 20:00pm.
To be a successful HGV C+E Driver you will have the following skills and experience:
- LGV C+E entitlement & valid CPC Card.
- Held your licence for at least 2 years and be clear of DR, CD & IN endorsements, for insurance purposes.
- Max 6 points.
In return the HGV C+E Driver will receive the below rates (with accrued holidays on top):
- HGV Class C+E Monday to Friday Nights: £17.89ph & £20.68ph flat rates.
- HGV Class C+E Sunday / Bank Holiday All Hours: £27.96ph flat rates.
- Weekly pay (through agency).
All drivers' pay rates are based on PAYE with accrued holidays. We can offer the umbrella payment scheme should you want a higher rate but no holiday payments. Pertemps acts as an employment agency recruiting staff for the clients; we provide temporary labour.
