ERS are supporting their client in their search for an Engineer/Welder

This is a permanent role with an established family run business based in Ellesmere port.

Main Duties

• Ensure plant, equipment, and facilities are maintained correctly and are kept in good working order
• Maximising output for all site processes
• Responsible for ensuring all site systems (blending, processing, loading, unloading, transferring, etc) are kept in good working order
• Risk Assessments and PTW
• Inspections / Fault finding
• Carrying out site checks & servicing
• Defect management
• Welding and fabrication and installation of bsp and schedule pipework
• Experience of welding and fabrication
• Product and process R&D
• Production (starting up & closing down production systems, monitoring)
• Assisting site Operators with their daily tasks, as required (loading tankers, processing paperwork, fuel production, site cleanliness etc)
• Provide holiday and sickness cover for site Operators as required

Requirements

• Time served Engineer with relevant qualification (ideally Process or Mechanical)
• Welding qualifications / experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills
• Fork-lift truck training advantageous
• IOSH, NEEBOSH (or equivalent) qualifications advantageous

Hours

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Alternating weeks of 6am-2pm, 1pm-9pm
