Maintenance Assistant

Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our Radstock based client who are looking for a Maintenance Assistant on a permanent basis.

What you will be doing:
In this key role within the business, you will be responsible for ensuring effective maintenance across the business.

Key Responsibilities :

• Carrying out repairs, aiming for first-time fix
• Diagnosing faults, working to budget
• Obtaining quotes from subcontractors and supervising them working on minor installation works
• Preventative maintenance
• Facilities support

What you will need to succeed:

• Proven trade background in plumbing, carpentry or general repairs
• Experience of working within a similar role, ideally within an educational setting
• H&S knowledge
• Effective communication skills
