Bakery Technologist

Are you passionate about bakery and ready to take the lead in developing standout products for some of the UK’s top retailers and brands? We’re looking for a Bakery Technologist to join a fast-paced, innovation-driven team dedicated to crafting delicious, on-trend baked goods.

In this customer-facing role, you’ll work closely with commercial teams and clients to turn insight into innovation – taking products from kitchen concept to launch with creativity, precision, and passion.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading the development of innovative bakery products, from concept through to launch.
• Working closely with retail and brand customers to develop bespoke solutions.
• Keeping ahead of market trends and translating them into commercially successful ideas.
• Running kitchen and factory trials, ensuring products meet the highest quality and compliance standards.
• Delivering engaging presentations and product samples to internal stakeholders and external clients.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven bakery NPD experience within a food manufacturing environment.
• A strong understanding of bakery processes, ingredients, and trends.
• Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to lead customer-facing projects.
• A creative thinker with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple development briefs.
