Machine Shop Supervisor (Days Based)

£40,000 – £47,000 + Bonus + Days Based + Progression + Additional Company Benefits

You will be based in or commutable from one of the following locations: Cambuslang, East Kilbride, Barrhead, Motherwell, Glasgow, East Kilbride. Other locations also considered.

Do you have previous experience in a machining environment and are looking to step into a autonomous role where you will oversee and manage the machine shop environment within an employee first company?

In this role you will work to lead the machining and fabrication department to ensure jobs are completed on time and to a high quality standard within a company who offer an excellent benefits package.

The company are a leader in their industry and supply a wide range of specialist purpose built equipment to blue chip clients across aerospace, automotive, oil and gas and more.

This role would suit someone from a machining/CNC background looking to move into a permanent position as a Machine Shop Supervisor.

The Role:

-Working as a machine shop supervisor to oversee and manage the fabrication and machining department

-Duties of the role include but are not limited to; Lead the team, produce components, inspection, QHSE, operate machines and much more.

-Days Based (Monday Friday)

The Person:

-Previous experience in a similar role or an experienced engineer/machinist looking for the step up in to a supervisor level role

-You will have some previous experience in Horizontal Boring OR CNC machining

-Ability to read and work from engineering drawings

-Looking for a long term permanent position
