Our client, a well-respected market leader in providing international freight forwarding and logistics solutions for high value goods, are recruiting for a Warehouse Manager to join a new team at their warehouse facility in Feltham, Middlesex.

This is a new role to join a new freight forwarding & logistics team specialising in handling the movement of high value & luxury goods. An exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding organisation with a vision to further establish its global leading position within the industry.

Main Purpose of the Role:

Reporting to the management and becoming a part of a busy warehouse team, the Warehouse Manager will work closely with colleagues, to carry out warehouse operational duties within a busy warehouse facility whilst overseeing and leading the warehouse operations team.

On Offer:

  • Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am-6pm
  • Competitive salary – up to £45K, depending on experience
  • Full time, permanent contract
  • Pension
  • Overtime work will be compensated accordingly
  • 22 Days holiday / calendar year

Duties and Responsibilities of the Warehouse Manager:

  • Process and manage all inbound and outbound freight for high-value & luxury shipments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with security protocols.
  • Meet strict daily deadlines to ensure efficient logistics operations.
  • Updating and maintaining logs as processed.
  • Load and unload shipments from vehicles for both inbound, outbound, and domestic transfers, ensuring careful handling of valuable goods.
  • Oversee all aspects of packing, uploading Proof of Delivery (PODs), triparts, and other relevant documentation.
  • Ensure all quality control, safety and protection procedures are updated and adhered to
  • Provide great customer service at all times
  • Collaborate with various operational departments to resolve any logistical challenges efficiently.
  • Perform all other essential and assigned duties as required to support logistics operations.

To Be Considered:

  • Proven team leadership experience within a warehouse environment, ideally within a highly secured facility
  • Valid full clean UK driving licence
  • No criminal convictions or driving bans – subject to full DBS check
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Previous warehouse operations experience is essential
  • Candidates must be available to work Monday to Friday each week
  • Out of hours and / or weekend availability may be required
  • Excellent time keeping skills. Must be flexible and have the ability to work on his/her own initiative
  • A proactive attitude and strong problem-solving skills
  • X-Ray Screening Licence is a plus
