Design Project Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Design Project Manager to join our large-scale programme team. This role is critical in managing a high volume of deliverables within tight deadlines, ensuring alignment with technical and business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, planning, and stakeholder engagement skills, along with a solid technical understanding of infrastructure and connectivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and deliver complex design-related deliverables on schedule.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across business and technical teams.
• Take full accountability for project delivery and outcomes.
• Review and manage MS Project Plans, including resource planning.
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead and motivate cross-functional teams within a large programme environment.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Support conflict resolution and problem-solving within the team.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time.
• Strong technical understanding of infrastructure technologies and connectivity.
• Excellent planning, organisation, and time management skills.
• Effective stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
• Experience with risk and issue management.
• Proficiency in MS Project and resource planning.
• Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience working with global and distributed teams.
• Familiarity with PAM (Privileged Access Management) tools.
• Background in architecture or design teams.
• Experience managing projects using JIRA, including JIRA Plans.
