YOUR CORE PURPOSE WILL BE: To oversee the operational management of the hotel, including Guest Services, Housekeeping & Food & Beverage. Working closely with the GM and being the 'go to' person in their absence. Display a pro-active and leading role in terms of service, culture, development, team image, systems, procedures, and skills development. Assist in managing day to day hotel operations by maximising financial returns, driving our people first culture, whilst creating and maintaining a unique guest experience. Execute brand standards and all operational initiatives of the brand, with a keen focus on health and safety, compliance and through developing a strong team culture, promote awareness of the hotel and brand in the local community. To support with initiatives and to the overall objectives of the business in terms of revenues, costs, and teamwork - developing your personal competency levels. Be the guarantor of guest satisfaction, positioning yourself as a benchmark for quality. Your role will report to the General Manager, and you will be required to deputise in their absence.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:
- Minimum 3 year's previous experience of a management role, from an Internationally recognised branded hotel - Marriott experience will be preferred.
- Keen ability to analyse performance metrics.
- Know how to set and manage a budget to achieve optimal returns.
- Candidates with a strong Duty Management and Food & Beverage background are preferred.
- A good working knowledge of Opera PMS, and Symphony is desired.
- Previous work experience in a Marriott Brand is desired.
