Head Chef Required – City Centre Hotel, Lancaster
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to take the lead in the kitchen at our welcoming city centre hotel in Lancaster. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys hands-on cooking and wants to take ownership of a small but dynamic kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and work alongside a small kitchen team of 2
• Plan and execute seasonal menus using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients
• Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and health & safety
• Manage kitchen operations, stock control, and food costs
• Inspire and support junior team members with training and development

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Head Chef or strong Sous Chef ready to step up
• Confident leading a small team and running all aspects of the kitchen
• Creative, organised, and quality-focused
• Strong understanding of food safety standards and kitchen management
