Role: Area Sales Manager (Agricultural)
Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Salary: Competitive salary (dependent upon experience) plus uncapped commission and a company car
Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8am - 5:30pm (with occasional weekend work). Additional hours may be required, including some weekends as per rota, especially during peak periods like harvest.

About the Role:
Reporting directly to the Branch & Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the sale of both new and used agricultural machinery and its associated equipment within a designated area. Your primary focus will be to visit customers, understand their needs, and maximise sales opportunities for the department in a courteous and effective manner.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Sound knowledge of the agricultural industry and its equipment.
- Proven sales, service, or parts experience within this sector.
- A track record of achieving sales performance targets.
- The ability to represent the dealership and our portfolio of brands professionally.
- A commitment to maintaining up-to-date product knowledge.
- Willingness to attend customer-focused events.
- A dedication to ensuring products are delivered with a first-class customer experience.
- Excellent customer service skills, both face-to-face and over the telephone.
- A target-driven mindset with the ability to upsell and exceed targets.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work under your own initiative.
