A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head Receptionist to join our client, a prestigious hotel in central Windsor. Reporting into the Deputy General Manager, the successful candidate will have previous experience in using Opera, as well as managing a team and will be responsible for providing exemplary customer service at all times.
Salary up to Β£31k per annum depending on experience. Working 5 days out of 740 hours per week (shift pattern) shifts are typically 7am - 3:30pm or 2:15pm - 10:45pm (*middle shifts may be required).
Key responsibilities:- Overseeing a team of 1 assistant head receptionist, 3 receptionists and 3 reception porters
- To ensure that operating standards are upheld at all times
- Effectively monitor the arrivals' list, identifying VIPs and regular guests and ensure correct allocation of room type
- Liaise with Duty Manager to ensure relevant departments are aware of VIPs and any special requests
- Ensure that the correct guest details are obtained on check-in and updated on Opera
- Monitor any extra departures, stay onβs and room moves and advise team accordingly
- Maintain confidentiality of information at all times
- Maintain a safe & secure working environment
- Ensuring a best-in-class customer service is delivered at all times
- Proven experience in managing a reception team
- Proficiency in using Opera
- Knowledge of relevant security, fire, health & safety, food safety legislation and procedures
