Are you an experienced energy lawyer ready to take on a strategically important role in a dynamic infrastructure business? This is a remote role in an established team. We’re working exclusively with a leading organisation at the forefront of change in the energy sector — and they are looking for a key legal hire to help shape the future of their business.

This is a successful national business that is part of the infrastructure of the UK and is actively embracing change within the way that they generate, use and sell energy as part of their wider business. An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and experienced energy lawyer who wants to play a formative role in how these changes are delivered.

Ideally, you will be at least 6 years qualified and have established experience, either within private practice or in-house, of a wide variety of energy matters, including a diverse portfolio of energy contract work. You’ll be joining a highly collaborative legal team working at the heart of strategic business decisions.

Your responsibilities will be diverse, reflecting the organisation’s broad reach across infrastructure and its commitment to innovation in energy and sustainability. You will be leading on cutting-edge energy transformation projects as the business adapts to significant market changes, including involvement with the Board and SLT.

You will work closely with stakeholders across the entirety of the business as well as the wider legal team and will see how your work has real commercial impact. Playing a central role in legal matters linked to the business’s environmental, social, and governance goals, this will suit an individual who embraces challenge and change and thrives in seeing how this drives a business forward.

If you’re ambitious, forward-thinking, and excited by the opportunity to be at the heart of something evolving and meaningful, we’d love to speak with you. This is a remote role with occasional travel within the UK. Applications will be considered on a full-time or part-time (4 day per week equivalent) basis.
