Join a well-established Engineering firm who are a leader in full machinery life cycles and the steelwork it sits upon.This role offers over time being paid at time and a half and double time.

Principle Responsibilities

• Reading engineering drawings
• Reading, understanding, and implementing Risk Assessments and Method Statements
• Checking dimensions and thicknesses
• Tig and MIG Welding Stainless Steel, Ali and Mild Steel between 2mm to 20mminto a wide range of structures, producing strong, clean welds suitable for machinery to be used in the food industry
• Reworking and/or repairing welded parts and products according to engineering specification changes
• Operating tools and machinery and welding equipment
• Cutting and grinding metal
• Cleaning tools, equipment and work areas

Person specification:-

• Fabricator welder apprenticeship or equivalent
• Experience of TIG and MIG Welding
• Experience Fabricating
• Experience of use of lifting equipment would be a plus
• Manual handling training
• Able to read engineering drawings
• Proactive approach to safety
• Use of hand tools

This is a full time role which also offers a large amount of overtime along with holiday pay and pension .

This role offers over time being paid at time and a half and double time.

This is a full time permanent Welder Fabricator position, Working Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm, offering an annual salary of up to £18ph plus annual company benefits to include paid holiday plus 8 bank holidays, pension scheme, discount scheme on all company products, over time, Christmas bonus and free car parking.
