TheroleforaFreightAccountManagerisextremelyvariedwhereyouwillbecomeakeymemberofanoperationsteam,activelyinvolvedinmanagingimportsandexportshipmentsfromstarttofinish.Youwillberesponsibleforarrangingshipmentsbytheappropriatemethodtosuittheclientsrequirementi.e.airfreight,roadfreight,courier,seafreight&crosstrademovements.Youwillbehandsonwitheveryaspectoftheforwardingprocess,ensuringthecustomerreceivesthehighestlevelofservice,andthattheyreceivetheirgoodssafelyandon-time.

TasksandresponsibilitiesfortheFreightAccountManager:

• Workingtostrictdeadlinestoco-ordinateWorldwidemultimodalimports&exportswithendtoendresponsibility(includingcollections,airlinebookings,liaisingwithoverseasagents/customersuntildelivered).
• Strongcustomerrelationshipstounderstandrequirementsandalwaysdeliverexcellentcustomerservice.
• Airlinebookingandprocessingrelevantimport/exportdocumentationincludingAWBs,CMRsandBOLs.
• SubmittingImport&ExportCustomsentriesusingASMSequoia.
• Liaisingeffectivelyandbuildingcloserelationshipswithoursupplychainincludingshippers,importers,agentsandclients.
• Quotations,pricingandinvoicingclients.
• Requirements,Skills&ExperiencefortheFreightAccountManager:
• Minimum3+yearsexperienceininastarttofinishroleineitherAirFreightImportsorExports.
• Customsentryexperience
• Customerservice-excellenttelephonemannerandEnglishcommunicationskills(verbal&written)
• Computerliterate-goodlevelonMicrosoftWord/Excel.
• Inhousesystems-useofCargowiseOneisconsideredanadvantage.
