Working on the grounds of a stunning private school you will be supporting the headmaster, his wife and busy family. This is a part time role for 3 days each week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday), working 3 hours each day (i.e. 9 hours per week). Start and finish times are flexible but must be between 08:30 and 15:00.

Your role:

  • Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
  • Cleaning and sanitising toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitary utility room
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen area
  • Making beds and changing linen
  • Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs
  • Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors
  • Sorting, washing, loading, and unloading laundry
  • Periodical cleaning of appliances, including oven, refrigerator, etc
  • Ironing clothing & bed linen
  • Using any cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning tools
  • Keeping bathrooms lime scale free daily
  • Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces daily
  • Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste daily
  • Arranging for steaming and cleaning draperies if required
  • Washing blinds
  • Tidying up rooms after the family
  • Monitoring cleaning supplies and reporting to Housekeeping Supervisor for more as needed
  • Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements to Domestic Operations Manager
