We have a fantastic leadership opportunity within our global technology team for a HR Technologies Director, to lead on the continued evolution and strategic success of Workday within ICON. This role is perfect for an experienced leader of complex HRIS programmes who enjoys partnering with senior stakeholders across functions and regions.

What you will be doing:

  • Driving strategic success for Workday technology through partnership with Senior HR and IT stakeholders and strategic vendor partnerships.
  • Coaching, mentoring and providing leadership development to the HR Technology team (managing 10-12 individuals).
  • Ensuring data SOX audit compliance across the Workday platform and ensure IT Change Control processes are consistently adhered to.
  • Providing recommendations to leadership on new technologies that could be utilized to improve effectiveness and the customer experience.
  • Supporting and driving business cases to secure funding for HR technology programmes.
  • Providing advice and guidance to HR and IT on Workday solutions for the business challenges.
  • Managing the team workload, along with planning future roadmap and ensuring resources are available to deliver. Where resources are challenged, prioritise the work in line with Stakeholder objectives.
  • Supporting all acquisition projects to ensure acquired companies are integrated with Workday.

Your Profile:

  • Experience in a leadership role responsible for the design, development, and implementation of a strategic plan for a suite of HR systems for a large organization, including, specifically, Workday.
  • Experience in managing a remote and geographically dispersed team of HR System Analysts, including full time and contractor team members.
  • Experience in managing to Service Level Agreements in a metrics driven organization.
  • Proven track record partnering with the HR team on driving innovative data driven solutions.
  • Experienced and comfortable working with senior executives and people at all levels organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional teams to meet business objectives and influence co-workers while fostering strong working relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects prioritization, planning, task delegation, and coordination across multiple teams.
  • Must live within a commutable distance of an ICON office in Ireland or the UK.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
