Site Supervisor

Contract Scotland is working in partnership with a well-established and respected Glasgow-based fit-out and refurbishment contractor to recruit an experienced Site Supervisor with a background in joinery.

Our client delivers high-quality projects across a range of sectors including retail, commercial, and leisure. Due to sustained growth and a strong project pipeline, they are now looking to bring a hands-on Site Supervisor into their team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being actively involved on-site; you\’ll be expected to work on the tools when required.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

– Day-to-day supervision of fit-out and refurbishment projects.

– Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.

– Ensuring health & safety compliance and promoting best practices on-site.

– Undertaking joinery tasks when necessary to support project delivery.

– Providing updates to Project Managers and reporting progress.

– Ensuring quality control and snagging of completed works.

To be considered for this role, you will:

– Be a joiner to trade.

– Have proven experience in commercial or retail fit-out and refurbishment.

– Prior supervisory experience.

– Strong organisational and communication skills.

– A proactive and hands-on approach.
