Wiltshire College & University Centre is on the lookout for a dynamic, forward-thinking Lecturer in Forensic Science to join our outstanding team. Whether you are already working in education or bringing industry experience from crime scene investigation, lab analysis, or forensic consultancy, this is your chance to make a lasting impact.

You will deliver engaging, hands-on learning to students on our Forensic Science programmes, covering topics such as:

• Crime scene analysis
• Forensic biology and chemistry
• Evidence handling and laboratory skills
• Criminal law and investigative processes

You will play a key role in shaping our curriculum, fostering curiosity, and preparing students for careers in law enforcement, lab work, criminology, and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging curriculum content in Forensic Science.
• Foster a stimulating learning environment that promotes student engagement and success.
• Provide academic and pastoral support to students to ensure their holistic development.
• Contribute to the design and assessment of course modules, ensuring alignment with industry standards and educational goals.
• Actively participate in departmental meetings, committees, and other college-wide initiatives.

You: The ideal candidate will hold:

• A degree in Forensic Science or a related field
• Teaching or training experience (or a willingness to work towards a teaching qualification)
• A strong grasp of current forensic practices and emerging trends
• A flair for practical, applied learning and a passion for student success
