Our Rushden based Client is urgently looking for a competent Credit Controller to assist them for a period of 3-4 months on a Temporary basis. Pay will be based on a salary of £30-35k (£15.00 - £17.95 per hour). Full time Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
As a Credit Controller, you will be managing and maintaining the company's credit and collections process to ensure timely payments from customers while minimising financial risk. This role involves:
- Assessing credit applications and setting credit limits.
- Monitoring outstanding debts and taking appropriate actions to recover overdue payments.
- Maintaining accurate records of all communications and transactions related to credit control.
- Monitoring customer accounts to ensure timely payments and adherence to credit terms.
- Chasing outstanding invoices via phone, email, and written correspondence to reduce aged debt.
- Investigating and resolving payment discrepancies or disputes efficiently.
- Preparing regular reports on debtor balances, overdue accounts, and credit risk analysis.
- Working closely with sales and finance teams to manage credit risks and resolve account issues.
