Managing Quantity Surveyor for Tier 1 main contractor who rarely recruit.
Your role as Managing Quantity Surveyor will be to work across multiple new build projects in central Norfolk as the overall commercial no 1. Working on the project from procurement, mentoring a junior member of the team and taking projects through the construction life cycle, supporting the upstream client process including CVRS and client meetings.
You will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Client meetings
- Cost forecasting and reporting
- Working across multiple NEC and JCT projects
- Change and variation
With 3 x new projects in Norfolk with future projects across the county so you must be willing to travel.
This Tier 1 main contractor has an excellent industry reputation and rarely hires for this team. With projects across East Anglia and the Home Counties. With a company annual turnover of over £2bn but the divisions run as separate entities so still has a smaller/regional business feel with access to the management team.
