On behalf of our customer, we are recruiting for a CNC Turner to join their busy team.Successful candidates will be able to programme, set and operate CNC Turning machines producing precision components to a high specification and rigorous quality standard.

The Job role;

Set and run CNC Turning machines specifically XYZ TC 400 Siemens control

XYZ TC 320 with bar feeder – Siemens control

Essential to the role is the ability to set and where necessary update programmes using Siemens controls

Ability to write programmes would be a strong advantage

Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings

Inspect your own work using conventional measurement techniques, diagnose errors and correct any deviation

About you;

CNC Operator Turner with Siemens control experience

Experience of producing complex components to very tight tolerance

Experience of operating Turning machines ideally XYZ

Work efficiently and accurately with minimum supervision

Knowledge of metal cutting techniques and Lean principles

Time Served or Apprentice Trained
