Software Developer – Oracle APEX | Up to £60k + Annual Bonus | Leeds & Manchester
G.Digital are partnered with a mission-led software and consulting team delivering secure, data-driven applications for the UK’s public and government sectors. Their projects span both Greenfield builds and long-term platform enhancements – and they’re looking for a developer who’s ready to make an impact from day one.
You’ll bring 3+ years of software development experience, including at least 1 year of hands-on Oracle APEX, and a solid grounding in SQL, PL/SQL, REST APIs, JavaScript and jQuery. This is a great opportunity for someone who’s confident in their core skills but wants to level up, especially across DevOps and cloud infrastructure.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Building secure, scalable systems using Oracle APEX, SQL/PLSQL, and RESTful services
- Developing responsive, data-rich UIs with JavaScript and jQuery
- Working on a mix of Greenfield projects and live product support
- Collaborating with engineers, delivery teams and technical consultants across the SDLC
- Gaining exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms like AWS/OpenShift
- Supporting junior team members while growing your own skills with structured mentoring
- Circa 3+ years’ experience in software development
- Minimum 1 year of commercial Oracle APEX experience
- Strong experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and RESTful APIs
- Solid frontend knowledge, especially JavaScript and jQuery
- Enthusiasm to learn about DevOps tooling and deployment pipelines
- Great communication skills. Able to work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Eligible for Security Clearance (or already SC-cleared)
- Up to £60k + Annual Bonus
