We’re looking for a Stockroom Manager to join our new retail team based at our first flagship store (on Oxford Street London) and Battersea store. This will be a dual role. Reporting to the Head of Retail you’ll play an integral role in leading the efficient and effective performance of the stores back of house operation. We are looking for a highly organised, driven, and professional individual who’s passionate about operations, logistics and quality whilst providing customers with an exceptional experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing the stockroom assistants, you’ll be a role model for behaviour and standards.
- Managing the teams’ daily duties, performance, and growth for both sites.
- Responsible for training and development, you’ll create and deliver informative training to enhance knowledge and processes.
- Drive and motivate your team to achieve KPI’s and targets.
- Managing and handling general stock movement, keeping accuracy of products received and despatched to a high level for both sites.
- Keeping the back of house operation tidy and compliant with standards set by the Head of Retail, whilst adhering to all health and safety protocols.
- Minimise stock loss and maximise speed of stock movement.
- Supporting the front of house style advisors with general client needs.
- Working closely with the store manager to support other key store projects and priorities.
- Ensuring quality control is monitored on all products, reporting any issues to all relative teams for both sites.
- Completing ad-hoc requests to support with events, visual merchandising, stock taking and other such duties.
- Conducts quarterly inventory audits in accordance with guidelines set by finance.
- Produce a weekly stock operations report looking at stock levels goods in and goods out.
- Builds a strong working relationship with all key stakeholders in both the warehouse and head office and couriers.
REQUIREMENTS
- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and in writing (Fluent English).
- Experience leading a team, conducting 1-1’s, performance reviews and general trainings.
- Proven ability to drive and maintain exceptional operational standards.
- Able to be flexible and adapt to change.
- Ability to challenge established thinking and champion new ideas to stakeholders in the business.
- Successfully able to manage multiple demands and competing priorities.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
