The Role: Shape the Future of Conveyancing in the Midlands
As a Senior Property Lawyer, you will manage a varied caseload of property transactions, ensuring smooth progression and exceptional client service. Working within a collaborative team, you will play a crucial role in meeting individual and team performance targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Caseload Management: Handle a diverse portfolio of sales and purchase transactions, including leasehold, new build, and shared ownership properties.
- Client Communication: Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients, team members, and other professionals via phone, email, and meetings.
- System Utilisation: Navigate the bespoke in-house case management system to progress files efficiently and maintain accurate records.
- Performance Targets: Achieve individual and team KPIs and SLAs, ensuring all transactions meet high standards and referrer requirements.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including AML regulations and CQS standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: At least 2 years in a conveyancing fee earner role.
- Technical Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of conveyancing transactions, including leasehold, new build, and shared ownership.
- System Proficiency: Experience with MS Office, Case Management Systems, Land Registry Portal, and Online SDLT submissions.
- Communication Skills: Confidence in client and professional interactions.
- Organisation: Ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines effectively.
- Knowledge: Demonstrable understanding of conveyancing legislation and best practices.
