A leading criminal defence practice based in London is looking to recruit a newly qualified or early-career Criminal Solicitor to join their respected team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Criminal Solicitor with 0-2 years\’ PQE who is passionate about criminal justice and ready to build their career within a busy, client-focused environment. The successful Criminal Solicitor will work alongside experienced fee earners on a broad range of cases, including serious crime, fraud, and youth matters. This role would suit a Criminal Solicitor who thrives in fast-paced settings and is keen to develop advocacy skills, police station representation, and case management expertise. The firm is known for its strong reputation in handling complex and high-profile matters, offering excellent professional development and exposure to varied criminal work. The Criminal Solicitor\’s role The Criminal Solicitor will be responsible for managing their own caseload, attending police stations and court, preparing cases for trial, and advising clients throughout the process. Duties will include legal research, drafting, liaising with counsel and other parties, and attending both Magistrates\’ and Crown Court hearings. You will be supported by an experienced team while also being given the opportunity to grow in autonomy and responsibility. A genuine commitment to criminal law and client care is essential.
