We look for character over credentials. We are a Series A fintech transforming B2B credit. Founded in 2020, we are already serving blue-chip clients across the UK, Europe, US and Canada. We are a fast-growing team of 35, based between the UK (London) and US (New York, Dallas).
We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to oversee the strategic direction of the Bondaval Platform as it evolves beyond supporting Bondaval's own insurance underwriting and policy products into a full-service credit insurance and risk underwriting platform for partners, insurers and end clients. It is a hands-on delivery role with a clear trajectory into product leadership as Bondaval continues to scale. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our product offering, drive innovation across the industry and help build a platform that redefines how credit risk is underwritten and delivered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Platform Vision & Strategy: Define and lead the vision for a scalable platform that enhances underwriting efficiency and decision-making for insurers through advanced technology.
- Risk-Driven Decisioning: Collaborate with the VP of Risk and Chief Data Scientist to integrate structured risk strategies and models into the platform's core decisioning engine.
- AI-Enabled Operations: Champion the use of AI to optimise platform operations, automate workflows, and drive improved business outcomes.
- Scalable Multi-Client Offering: Expand the platform beyond Bondaval's internal use case to support a broad range of clients across the credit insurance ecosystem.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and executive leadership to align platform capabilities with strategic goals.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in product management. Proven track record as a product leader, managing teams and delivering enterprise SaaS solutions. Previous experience at a startup or scale-up, ideally in the enterprise SaaS space. Previous experience that aligns to the credit insurance industry, be it fintech, financial services, risk platforms or others.
- Skills: Developing leadership and mentoring skills, with the desire to grow and manage high-performing teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Expertise in managing zero to one product lifecycles.
- Attributes: Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable in fast-paced environments. Passion for innovation and technology with a focus on delivering customer value. Ability to go deep into detail with a quality mindset.
