We are seeking a passionate and experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) teacher to join an established educational organisation in partnership with a forward-thinking secondary school. This role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact on students who require additional support, within a supportive and inclusive setting. The position is available for an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to students with special educational needs
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the SENCO and support staff
  • Provide targeted interventions and adapt teaching strategies to meet a wide range of needs
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records of development and achievements
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment
  • Liaise effectively with parents, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to support student well-being
  • Contribute to the wider school community and participate in training and professional development
Required Qualifications and Experience
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Proven experience teaching students with special educational needs in a school setting
  • Strong understanding of SEND Code of Practice and effective classroom management strategies
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
  • A proactive, patient, and empathetic approach to teaching and learning
