We are seeking an enthusiastic Resource Base Teacher to join our friendly and inclusive primary school team.
About the Role
You will teach a small group of primary-aged children in a supportive and nurturing class environment within our Resource Base. The class comprises pupils with a range of special educational needs, including communication and interaction difficulties, autism, and learning challenges. You will plan and deliver high-quality, individualised teaching to meet each pupil\’s unique needs and help them achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons tailored to individual EHCP targets.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where every child can thrive.
- Work collaboratively with the SENCo, teaching assistants, and other professionals.
- Monitor and track progress, providing regular feedback to pupils, parents, and carers.
- Promote independence, confidence, and a love of learning in every pupil.
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND, ideally within a resource base or specialist setting.
- A caring, patient, and creative approach to teaching and learning.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A strong commitment to inclusion and the wellbeing of every child.
