We’re Hiring: Heating Engineers or Price Work Teams (Preston Based)

Location: Full-time, On-Site – Preston and surrounding areas

Eco Home Insulation is expanding, and we are currently looking to recruit 8 experienced Heating Engineers or 4 established teams working on price to support our growing pipeline of energy efficiency work. We are particularly interested in hearing from individuals or teams who hold the ASHP Ticket, Gas Safe registration, and G3 certification. These roles are ideal for engineers who want to be part of a fast-moving, high-quality operation delivering essential upgrades to homes across Britain.

About Us:

Eco Home Insulation is a PAS 2030-accredited installer operating under the Government-backed Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme. We work with homeowners, landlords, and tenants across Britain to provide free insulation and heating measures to low-income and fuel-poor households. We are committed to reducing carbon footprints and improving energy efficiency through a tailored approach based on each home’s individual building fabric. Our work is backed by government funding and focused on quality, compliance, and customer care.

The Role:

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Preston, with travel to local installations as required. Heating Engineers will be responsible for:

  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing central heating systems and LPG systems
  • Carrying out ASHP installations
  • Diagnosing and fixing faults and performing system checks and inspections
  • Ensuring all work is compliant with relevant safety and industry standards
  • Providing excellent customer service and representing Eco Home Insulation to a high standard
  • Maintaining accurate records and liaising with internal teams as needed

Requirements:

  • Valid ASHP Ticket, Gas Safe registration, and G3 certification
  • Proven experience with central heating and LPG systems
  • Strong plumbing and building maintenance skills
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach to problem solving
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
