About the Job

We’re working with a forward-thinking organisation that is seeking a confident and experienced Senior Employee Relations Case Advisor to lead on complex casework and provide expert guidance to managers across the business. If you’re passionate about fair, consistent and legally sound employee relations, this could be your next challenge.

As a Senior Employee Relations Case Advisor, you will:

  • Provide expert advice to managers on a range of employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, and absence cases
  • Lead on complex, high-risk, or sensitive casework, including appeals and investigations
  • Act as a point of escalation and support less experienced HR team members
  • Review and improve ER processes and documentation to ensure best practice and legal compliance
  • Work closely with legal advisors, trade unions and stakeholders where appropriate
  • Monitor ER trends and report on key themes to inform policy and organisational learning

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong background in employee relations, ideally in a large or complex organisation
  • Excellent knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
  • Experience managing complex or high-risk ER cases from start to resolution
  • Comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels and coaching managers through difficult situations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail
  • CIPD qualified or equivalent experience preferred
