About the Job: The Brand Trainer will drive training strategies that empower Taco Bell’s European franchise network to grow and succeed. This role offers exciting opportunities to deliver training programmes by job roles, support new market openings, and collaborate with leadership to develop high-performing teams. The Brand Trainer will report to the Training Manager and play a key role in expanding Taco Bell’s presence across Europe.

The Day to Day:

  • Lead the planning and execution of franchise training programmes that ensure consistency with global Taco Bell standards and operational excellence.
  • Support new market openings by developing and delivering tailored training plans, ensuring smooth launches and franchise success.
  • Collaborate with franchisees to assess training needs, customise content, and provide ongoing learning support for franchise teams.
  • Support users with the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring easy access to training materials and tracking progress across franchises.
  • Drive people development initiatives, focusing on bench planning and career progression for franchise and equity teams.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve training programmes, using feedback and performance data to optimise effectiveness and impact.
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness by assessing the performance of employees post-training to ensure objectives are met and collecting feedback on training programs and adjust for continuous improvement.
  • Work with store managers and regional leaders to identify training needs.
  • Collaborate with HR for scheduling and tracking training progress.

Is This You? At least 3 years’ experience in people training and development, specifically within the franchise or retail operations environment. In-depth knowledge of franchise operations, with a focus on training system implementation and continuous improvement. Proven ability to design and deliver operational training programmes, ensuring alignment with brand standards and operational excellence. Strong understanding of training needs analysis, content creation, and customisation to suit operational requirements. Ability to maintain open communication between trainees, management, and franchise leadership. Demonstrated expertise in managing group dynamics, resolving conflicts efficiently, and delivering clear, engaging instructions during training sessions to foster productive learning environments. Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), including administration, reporting, and tracking training progress across teams. Project management experience in coordinating and executing training initiatives for multiple franchises or locations.
