They’re seeking a senior solicitor or trade mark attorney with some established client relationships and the ambition to grow something long-term. Your responsibilities will include:
- Advising on brand strategy, trade mark registration and global portfolio management.
- Conducting clearance searches and assessing risk and enforceability.
- Overseeing the preparation and filing of UK and international trade mark applications.
- Managing contentious and non-contentious IP issues including oppositions and enforcement.
- Drafting and negotiating trade mark licences and related agreements.
- Leading client relationships and supporting marketing and business development initiatives.
- Mentoring and supervising junior lawyers and team members.
The Ideal Candidate
- A qualified solicitor or UK trade mark attorney with senior associate or junior partner experience.
- Strong client base or portable following, ideally in creative or brand-led sectors.
- Broad trade mark experience, including clearance, filing, enforcement, and strategy.
