The role of the R&D Chemist – Mortar, Screed & Cement Products will involve:
- Dealing with a high quality manufactured range of mortar, plaster and render
- Supporting in the development of both new and existing products and formulations
- Researching and testing new raw materials and building strong relationships with suppliers
- Generating Safety Data Sheets & Environmental Product Declarations using specialist software (training provided)
- Supporting in Quality Control (QC) testing when required
- Supporting in troubleshooting production issues
The ideal applicant will be an R&D Chemist – Mortar, Screed & Cement Products with:
- R&D experience and familiarity with producing formulations
- Experience dealing with related products such as cement, mortar, screed, precast concrete, ready mix concrete, concrete admixtures, cement admixtures, chemicals admixtures, grouts and resins
- Familiarity with ISO 14001 & ISO 9001 standards
- Ideally degree level educated in chemistry or a related field
- A positive, energetic and confident individual
- Driven, organised and personable
