Vehicle Builder Job Title: Vehicle Builder Rate: £30.00 per hour Limited / Umbrella Location : Craigentinny Hours: Monday- Friday 07:00-17:00 Contract: 6 months Due to an increase in workload, we are looking for a Vehicle Builder to join a client on an ongoing contract basis. Key Responsibilities for this Vehicle Builder role: Assemble, fit, and finish components of rail vehicles according to engineering drawings and specifications. Measure, cut, and install lino flooring in various sections of rail cars, ensuring precise and clean application. Prepare subfloors, apply adhesives, and ensure proper bonding and finish of flooring materials. Work collaboratively with other trades such as electricians, carpenters, and upholsterers as part of the vehicle build process. Perform inspections to ensure work meets quality and safety standards. Use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
