EPOS Engineer

About the Role: We are looking for an EPoS Engineer to join our exciting team. This role is ideal for someone with previous computer or EPoS experience and technical competence in general hardware and operating systems. This varied role involves fulfilling new orders, managing stock, repairing machines, performing on-site warranties, and supporting customers both over the phone and occasionally face-to-face through full EPoS installations.

Responsibilities:

• Fault-finding on EPoS equipment and peripherals
• First-line technical support (phone, email, online)
• Testing equipment and completing configurations/builds
• Diagnosing and resolving faults remotely
• Experience with Microsoft operating systems and installations
• Keeping up-to-date with latest technologies
• (Desirable) Experience with Sage 200
• Experience using Microsoft Office
• Stock management and distribution within the warehouse
• Occasional on-site repairs for customers
• Good telephone manner and ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical customers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team player
• Capable of managing a small team and reporting to director
• Able to implement training for staff and customers on-site

Qualifications:

• Ability to be proactive, prioritise, and problem-solve independently and within a team
• Full clean driving license (essential)
• References required

Required Skills:

• EPoS Engineer: 2 years (preferred)

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Sage 200
• Experience using Microsoft Office

Pay range and compensation package:

• Job Type: Full-time
