Business Analyst - part time contract

Business Analyst feeding into the legal sector on a part – time (2.5 days a week) 30 day outside IR35 project. 25% of the work is expected to be taken on-site in London. Experience- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in agile environments.- Proven track record in AI or automation projects, ideally in regulated industries.- Experience in legal, insurance, or financial services sectors is highly desirable.Technical Skills- Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).- Experience with agile project management tools- Experience of using Jira- Knowledge of data analysis and visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).- Familiarity with AI and automation platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365 Copilot, Power Automate).Soft Skills- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders and technical teams.- Ability to work independently as the sole BA while collaborating effectively within a team.- High attention to detail, especially for complex processes and compliance requirements.Domain Knowledge- Understanding of business processes in regulated industries (e.g., legal, insurance, financial services).- Knowledge of data protection and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR).- Familiarity with the challenges of billable industries, such as reducing unbillable time.
