We are seeking a Transport Administrator to join one of our Clients busy team in Tilbury. Their company operates Class 1 container trucks, and you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of their transport operations. Duties will include: • Managing VBS (Vehicle Booking System) slots to ensure efficient traffic flow. • Liaising with drivers regarding routes, timings, and container collections/deliveries. • Monitoring vehicle movements and updating systems accurately. • General transport administration duties, including filing, updating records, and supporting the transport team with daily tasks. • Communicating with the port and other stakeholders to prevent delays. Requirements: • Previous transport administration experience (desirable but not essential). • Strong organisational and communication skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. • Confident using computer systems. • Knowledge of container transport and VBS booking systems (advantage).
