Your mission: This position offers you the ability to take part in the full lifecycle of Fiduciam’s loans. You will handle loan enquiries, assist the underwriting process through to completion and ensure that clients have a good experience. You will manage a pipeline of multiple transactions at different stages, assisting underwriters and portfolio managers. You will also visit properties, connect with clients and third parties to grow your network, and develop an understanding of the real estate and development lending market. From this graduate position, you can steer your career towards a variety of roles including client-facing origination, and underwriting.

Your primary responsibility is to assist on the project management of loan applications, which includes:

  • Assisting with origination and collection of information – we expect you to communicate professionally with prospective and existing borrowers;
  • Demonstrating and documenting your understanding of each loan application to assist underwriters in assessing and approving the loan application;
  • Instructing and liaising with our valuers and solicitors;
  • Performing Anti-Money-Laundering (AML) and Know-Your-Customer (KYC), and fraud checks;
  • Organising, filing and keeping track of all applications and outstanding loans;
  • Creating targeted marketing material for external distribution;
  • Assisting us with generating leads and developing new partnerships.

About you: Minimum 2:1 academic degree with demonstrated academic excellence; Knowledge and interest in the property market; Excellent communication and commercial skills; Outstanding project management and organisational skills; Strong numerical skills and proficiency with Excel; Diligent and precise, with strong attention to detail; Proactive with the ability to anticipate challenges and take initiative to solve problems; Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-growing, international environment; Ability to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines; Enjoy working in an international environment; and Eligible to work in the UK.
