Key Responsibilities

Provide visible clinical leadership and drive high standards of nursing care

Lead and audit care plans, risk assessments, and medication protocols
-
Oversee reviews, CPAs, admissions, and discharges
-
Promote team cohesion, offer regular supervisions, and support development
-
Monitor physical health standards and infection control measures
-
Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and internal quality frameworks
-
Support recruitment and help maintain a positive, values-driven culture
-
Participate in the senior on-call rota
Youll Need To Have
-
Current NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
-
Leadership experience in a mental health or complex care setting
-
Excellent understanding of safeguarding, governance, and clinical risk
-
Confident communicator with coaching and mentorship skills
-
Passion for empowering staff and improving service outcomes
The Service
The successful candidate will be joining a modern, 23-bed residential mental health service offering open rehabilitation for adults aged 18+. The service supports individuals with long-term mental health needs, promoting independence, recovery, and meaningful community engagement.
