Senior DevOps Engineer – Liverpool/Hybrid – £70K

Maxwell Bond are engaged with a market-leading client in the Liverpool area that’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team. You will join a well-established DevOps team with lots of exciting projects ongoing and planned over the next 12/18 months across Cloud/AI.

Key responsibilities:

• Help to integrate and onboard new software into the business infrastructure
• Help to maintain and enhance monitoring and alert systems
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to support smooth and frequent software releases
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployments using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar
• Monitor system performance and reliability, set up alerts, and respond to incidents promptly
• Maintain and improve cloud environments (Azure) ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness
• Work closely with developers to streamline build, test, and deployment processes
• Manage containerized applications using tools like Docker and Kubernetes

Experience required:

• Windows/Linux OS
• IaC (Terraform, Bicep, Ansible)
• Containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes)
• CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub)
• Monitoring tools
• Exposure to .Net, NodeJS
• Scripting (Bash/Powershell)
