A reputable client is currently seeking an experienced and qualified HGV Technician to join their team in a mobile, on-call capacity. This is a permanent, full-time position offering excellent earning potential and a clear path for progression.
The successful candidate will begin with approximately 8-12 weeks of workshop-based training to become familiar with the clients diagnostic systems and product range, before transitioning into a fully mobile role.
Role Overview:
- Mobile HGV Technician working a 40-hour week on a rotating 24/7/365 schedule
- Diagnose and repair light and heavy goods vehicles at roadside and on customer sites
- Covering CF, NP, and LD postcode areas
- Company van and fuel card provided
Key Requirements:
- Proven mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills
- Experience diagnosing and repairing HGVs in a roadside or mobile setting
- Strong understanding of Health and Safety and Roadside Safety procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Must hold a current Class 1 driving licence
- Relevant vocational qualifications/certifications desirable
