Rates: Β£25.00-Β£27.00 Per Hour (PAYE) / Β£35.00-Β£40.00ph (Umbrella/Outside IR35)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly and carry out scheduled maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine faults efficiently using technical expertise and available documentation.
  • Build strong working relationships with operational teams to maximize performance and reduce downtime.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis to improve machine reliability and support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Maintain and repair machinery to high standards, proactively reducing downtime and enhancing departmental efficiency.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Ideally, you will have completed a Time-served Engineering Apprenticeship.
  • Experience in FMCG/Packaging Manufacturing is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong competence in fault-finding on 3-Phase Electrical Systems, Drives, I/O PLCs, as well as Pneumatic and Hydraulic Systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks efficiently.
